I haven’t had the time or inspiration for thrift shopping lately but I made a quick stop at a Village Thrift this afternoon and was very happy to find a boxed set of Forming Sounds phonic cards. These were produced by the Ideal School Supply Company in Oak Lawn, IL in 1980. Each card is beautifully printed and designed. I’ll be posting a bunch of examples from the set of 40 cards. Of course my set isn’t complete - that would be too good to be true! But for a few bucks, I’m pretty happy with the 39 cards I’ve got. More here.
