This postcard, advertising a 1988 concert by Slayer, was mailed out to me by the venue Pulsations - a large disco in suburban Glen Mills, PA. Yes, I attended this show and yes, it was incredible. I remember Slayer fans nearly smashing the glass doors apart from pounding on them to be let into the club. I believe that Nevermore played first and I remember Slayer fans crowd-surfing only to give the opening band the middle finger and make sure they saw it. I also remember getting so much long hair in my mouth from the densely packed pit that I eventually moved to the balcony toward the end of the show. According to the website setlist.fm, this is what Slayer played that night: South of Heaven, Raining Blood, Silent Scream, Read Between the Lies, Black Magic, Postmortem, Necrophiliac, Behind the Crooked Cross, Kill Again, Mandatory Suicide, Chemical Warfare, Spill the Blood, Live Undead, Angel of Death.
